§ Mr. Meacher"Greening Government: the first annual report of Green Minsters" will be published tomorrow. The report provides a comprehensive account of what Green Ministers have been doing—and will do in future—to promote sustainable development, to integrate the environment into policies and to green their Departments' operations. The Report introduces targets, action plans and strategies across the wide range of activities of Green Ministers: waste, energy, water, transport, training and awareness raising, integrating the environment into policy and involving associate bodies. Copies will be placed in the Library.
