To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if the members of the Northern Ireland Assembly are being paid. [92573]

Yes. The Assembly, which is currently in recess, is being paid under the New Northern Ireland Assembly (Salaries and Allowances) Order 1999 which was made under the Northern Ireland (Elections) Act 1998.
