To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many persons are thought by the RUC to have been involved in the murder of Adam Lambert on 9 November 1987; how many persons were arrested in connection with this murder; how many were(a) charged and (b) convicted; and what sentences were given. Police arrested eight suspects in connection with the murder, two were charged (one was withdrawn by the Director of Public Prosecutions) and one person was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for murder.
