§ Mr. Alan HowarthThe Government have allocated £1.4 million over the next two years to the National Museum of Science and Industry, for purchase of the site for the National Collections Centre and its refurbishment.
A bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund is being considered. No private funding is currently involved.
