To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what proportion of cleared-up crime was committed by(a) males under 18, (b) males between 18 and 25, (c) males over 25, (d) females under 18, (e) females between 18 and 25 and (f) females over 25 in the last year for which figures are available; and if he will make a statement. The statistics on cleared up crime are not collected centrally by age or sex. However, the Cautions and Court Proceedings Databases contain details of persons cautioned or convicted by age and sex from which the figures in the table have been derived.
