§ Ms QuinThe four principal treaties and all the Regulations and Directives in force are published in all 11 official languages of the European Union. During the UK Presidency the European Commission started the process of screening the candidates' legislation against the EU' s acquis, using the language versions agreed between the Commission and the candidate concerned.
