§ Mr. Tony LloydThe Department's special unit covers British citizens with dual nationality taken hostage as well as those without. The unit is presently handling one such case. The male abductee, kidnapped in August 1998 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, holds both New Zealand and British nationality.
