§ Mr. RookerThe Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (Amendment) Order 1996 (SI 1996 No. 962), which came into force on 29 March 1996, implemented the Spongiform Encephalopathy Advisory Committee's advice of 20 March 1996 by introducing a prohibition on the feeding of mammalian meat and bone meal to all farmed livestock.
