§ Mr. Alan HowarthThe capitation grant for 1998–99 is £4,680. The cost of supported placements in 1998–99 can be calculated on a retrospective basis only once the financial year has ended and supported employment providers have sent the Department their audited accounts. Providers have been given a deadline of December 1999 for this.
Uprating the capitation grant in line with the GDP deflator of 2.9 per cent. would result in a level of £4,815.
