§ Mr. Andrew SmithNone of the Statutory Instruments made by the Department for Education and Employment revoking or amending regulations between 1 May 1997 and 22 May 1998 had a direct impact on small businesses. The Department is continually mindful of reflecting in policy the importance of job generation in small businesses, for example in the design of the New Deal and its self-employment option.
