§ Mrs. RocheThe Government's proposals to control trafficking and brokering and to introduce parliamentary scrutiny of Export of Goods Control Orders are clearly set out in the White Paper on Strategic Export Control which was published on 1 July. The hon. Lady will see that the consultation period is underway and is due to be completed on 30 September.
Section 6 of the provisional Regulatory Appraisal, which was published as part of the White Paper, contains an estimate of the cost of enforcing the proposals on transfers of technology by intangible means and trafficking and brokering.
