To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will meet representatives from the NFU in the Western Isles to discuss the transportation of livestock to the mainland. [28092]

The Minister responsible for agriculture at the Scottish Office my noble Friend Lord Sewel, would be pleased to meet representatives of the Scottish NFU at a mutually convenient date should they consider this necessary to discuss transport of livestock.
