Mr. Wilkinson

To ask the Minister without Portfolio if he has discussed the matters raised with Commissioner Liikanen during his recent meeting with(a) Ministers from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and (b) representatives of the Prime Minister's Office. [28740]

I was accompanied at the meeting by a senior official from UKRep Brussels. The main points arising from my meetings in Brussels have been reported in the normal way.

I met Commissioner Liikanen in the course of a programme arranged by the UK Permanent Representation to the European Union (UKRep). I discussed with Commissioner Liikanen his responsibilities for budget, management and staffing issues. I was accompanied by a senior official from UKRep.
