§ Ms Estelle MorrisWe will shortly be consulting on new guidance to schools and LEAs on the use of exclusion. This will emphasise that permanent exclusion should be avoided wherever possible, and draw attention to the particular problems exclusion causes for pupils studying for public examinations.
