§ Mr. DenhamThe total number of claims for Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit in respect of chronic bronchitis and emphysema for the period 13 September 1993 to 31 March 1997 was 50,195 and in the same period 5,428 awards were made. Since 1 April 1997, a further 22,984 claims have been received and 6,752 awards made.
