§ Mr. McLeishAs indicated in my previous answer on 10 December 1997,Official Report, columns 627–28, there were 1,333 complaint cases against the police in Scotland in 1996–97. It is not possible, however, to distinguish from the records held centrally on these cases the total number of individuals who made complaints.
