§ Mr. Morley[holding answer 15 December 1998]: The provisions originally set out in these regulations are now included in Schedule 1 of the Welfare of Livestock Regulations 1994 (SI 2126). This Department has concluded two prosecutions under that Schedule since 1 May 1997. Records of prosecutions taken by other bodies such as local authorities and the RSPCA are not kept centrally.
