§ Clare ShortWe, and other donors have agreed an International Development Strategy which acknowledges that, to make progress towards its goals, the international community needs to sustain and increase the volume of development assistance. We hold discussions with other donors on aid levels, and respective contributions, mainly in the course of replenishment negotiations for Lome, IDA and the Regional Banks, and in discussions with the Development Assistance Committee of the OECD on reviews of individual donor programmes, most recently that of the United States.
