§ Mr. AncramFrom the information available, it is estimated that since financial year 1992–93 direct departmental public investment commitments in the Belfast, West constituency are £406 million, and related private sector investment is £162 million.
Corresponding figures for the period 1983–84 to 1991–92 are not entirely complete as expenditure on a number of Government programmes is not available for the entire period. Available figures indicate direct departmental public investment commitments were £172 million and related private sector investment was £112 million.
