HC Deb 22 December 1997 vol 303 c525W
Mr. Burstow

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what assessment he has made of the cost to the NHS in terms of emergency admissions and other NHS treatment as a result of reductions in expenditure on chiropody services. [17801]

Mr. Boateng

None. We have not received any evidence that emergency admissions or any other National Health Service treatment has increased as a result of changes in service provision.
