§ Angela EagleThere is no legal requirement for landfill operators, or those disposing of radioactive waste, to inform the Environment Agencies of each disposal. They must, however, maintain records of the quantities of radioactive waste disposed and make these available for inspection by the Environment Agencies. The information requested is therefore not available centrally.
