§ Mr. RichardsThe number of physiotherapists qualifying has been monitored centrally only since the introduction of the towards 2000 arrangements for non-medical education and training in 1993. The figures are as follows:

§ Mr. RichardsThis information is not routinely collected centrally. However, a recent survey of physiotherapy departments estimated that there were some 77 WTE vacancies in total across Wales which took account of 62 additional posts arising from local service developments over the past two years.
