To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many incidents of concerted indiscipline at Buckley Hall prison have been reported to the Prison Service headquarters since the prison first opened; and what is the average figure over the same period of time for male category C training prisons. Pearson to Ms Liz Lynne, dated 25 March 1996: The Home Secretary has asked me, in the absence of the Director General, to reply to your recent Question asking how many incidents of concerted indiscipline at Buckley Hall prison have been reported to Prison Service Headquarters since the prison first opened; and what is the average figure over the same period of time for male category C training prisons. The number of incidents of concerted indiscipline reported from Buckley Hall prison since its opening on 14 December 1994 until 20 march 1996 is seven. The average number of incidents of concerted indiscipline reported during the same period from male category C training prisons is 0.6.
