§ Lord James Douglas-Hamilton[holding answer 19 July 1996]: Waiting list figures as at 31 March are published annually in December by the information and statistics division of the Common Services agency of the national health service in Scotland in "Scottish Health Statistics". Information on waiting list figures at other dates is held by the information and statistics division of the Common Services agency, but is not routinely published.
