To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many convictions have been secured at the sheriff court for the illegal discharge of oil or waste at sea in each of the past seven years; what were the fines imposed; what was the number and proportion of United Kingdom registered vessels involved in such cases; and if he will make a statement.
