§ Sir Patrick MayhewMr. Spring and I met at a two-part meeting of the Anglo-Irish intergovernmental conference which met initially in London on 1 February and concluded in Dublin on 7 February. Amongst other things we conducted an extensive review of all recent developments in the peace process.

§ Sir John WheelerThe Government have received a number of written and oral representations since the publication of the international body's report; these are being considered. The Government have welcomed and accepted the report, and intend to discuss its recommendations with the Northern Ireland parties.
