§ Mr. HoramInformation on the location of bone densitometry scanners in individual hospitals is not available centrally. The recent survey by the National Osteoporosis Society suggested that 38 per cent. of health authorities are specifically funding bone densitometry. It is for individual health authorities to decide locally what priority to give to making bone densitometry scans available to those who need them.
