§ Sir Paul BeresfordThe table lists the numbers of staff in each grade in all of the directorates, divisions and units that comprise the Department's new local development 377W group. Within the local government directorate, LG1 division on local government reorganisations works on structure, LG2 division on local government sponsorship and the local government pensions unit works on sponsorship and superannuation, and LG3 division on local authority contracting out and competition in providing services works on competition.
