§ Mr. ClappisonCastle Cement has appealed against variation notice, AR 9435 issued by HMIP under section 10 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 on 23 January 1996. The company contends that the notice is null and void, and also appeals against six specific conditions of authorisation.
HMIP became part of the Environment Agency on 1 April 1996 and a full copy of Castle Cement's grounds of appeal is available for inspection by the public in the register maintained at the agency's office in Bamber Bridge, Preston. It will also be available in the register maintained by Ribble Valley borough council.
