HC Deb 30 October 1995 vol 265 c95W
22. Mr. Hendry

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what estimate he has formed as to the extent to which inward investment in Wales is related to its current constitutional position in the United Kingdom. [37851]

Mr. Hague

A wide range of factors are considered when inward investors make their investment decisions. Political and economic stability with low interest and inflation rates are major considerations, as are, labour availability and quality, good industrial relations, good communications and a good industrial infrastructure.
