§ Mr. EggarThe US-Euratom agreement for peaceful nuclear co-operation is intended to provide a secure basis for co-operation and trade between the nuclear industries of the two parties as well as a number of third countries, and provides a framework for this trade to expand in the future. The agreement will now go to the US Congress for its approval.
Copies of the text of the agreement signed on 7 November will be placed in the Libraries of both Houses shortly when these become available from Brussels.
