§ Mrs. GoldingTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many responses were received to the consultation document on the recruitment and training of probation officers; and how many of these supported the Government's proposals as set out in the consultation paper. [28113]
§ Mr. BakerA total of 493 responses had been received by the end of the consultation period on 26 May 1995, of which 11 supported those proposals in full. My right hon. and learned Friend will be carefully considering all responses received and will announce his conclusions in due course.
