§ Mr. MaloneHealth authorities and national health service trusts already inform their local communities about performance against the patients charter initiative and about local services more generally. The fourth anniversary of the citizens charter gives them an opportunity to further strengthen this important communication process. We do not collect data on the cost of these local management initiatives centrally.
