§ Mr. SackvilleA list of property and assets not transferred to trusts is maintained at regional level and is not available centrally. However, existing use value of 1151W these assets is estimated at £3.48 billion from the information provided through the capital charging arrangements. Property which is declared surplus to operational requirements is sold as soon as possible. Regions implement disposal programmes to achieve the best price possible on the open market. Proceeds are used for reinvestment in the provision of healthcare.
