What is the meaning of the phrase "political commitment" which they used in relation to the principles and objectives agreed at the Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference (HL Deb., 29th June 1995, col. WA60).

The "Principles and Objectives for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament" issued at the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review and Extension Conference are policy objectives agreed by the governments represented at the Conference. The document is not legally binding.
