§ Mr. Douglas HoggWe regularly press the Sudanese Government to improve their human rights record and persevere with the peace initiative launched last year by the Inter-Governmental Authority for Drought and Development. I raised both issues in a meeting with the Sudanese Minister of State for Foreign Affairs on 22 May.
