To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects to publish the report of the Inter-agency Committee on Domestic Violence.

The ministerial group on domestic violence has no plans to publish a report, but intends to issue, early this year, an inter-agency circular which will encourage local statutory and voluntary agencies to work in concert to provide help and support to those suffering domestic violence and to develop preventative strategies.
