To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment (1) how many people, after leaving (i) the adult employment subsidy scheme, (ii) the employment action scheme, (iii) the job creation programme, (iv) the job interview guarantee scheme, (v) the job review workshops scheme, (vi) the job splitting scheme, (vii) the job search seminars scheme, (viii) the job training programme, (ix) the job training scheme. (x) the jobplan workshops programme, (xi) the learning for work scheme, (xii) the new workers scheme, (xiii) the old training scheme, (xiv) the recruitment subsidy for school leavers scheme. (xv) the voluntary projects programme, (xvi) the work experience programme. (xvii) the workstart pilots scheme, (xviii) the wider opportunities training programme, (xix) the youth employment subsidy scheme between 1976 and 1978 and (xx) the young workers scheme (a) went into work. (b) went into further employment schemes and (c) became unemployed; [6423]

(2) how many people took part in (i) the adult employment subsidy scheme, (ii) the employment action scheme, (iii) the job creation programme, (iv) the job interview guarantee scheme, (v) the job review workshops scheme, (vi) the job splitting scheme, (vii) the job search seminars scheme, (viii) the job training programme, (ix) the job training scheme, (x) the jobplan workshops programme, (xi) the learning for work scheme, (xii) the new workers scheme, (xiii) the old job training scheme, (xiv) the recruitment subsidy for school leavers scheme, (xv) the voluntary projects programme, (xvi) the work experience programme, (xvii) the workstart pilots scheme, (xviii) the wider opportunities training programme, (xix) the youth employment subsidy scheme between 1976 and 1978 and (xx) the young workers scheme in each year of each scheme's operation including those who left before completion of the scheme; [6427]

(3) how many persons left (i) the adult employment subsidy scheme, (ii) the employment action scheme, (iii) the job creation programme, (iv) the job interview guarantee scheme, (v) the job review workshops scheme, (vi) the job splitting scheme, (vii) the job training programme, (ix) the job training scheme, (x) the jobplan workshops programme, (xi) the learning for work scheme, (xii) the new workers scheme, (xiii) the old job training scheme, (xiv) the recruitment subsidy for school leavers scheme, (xv) the voluntary projects programme, (xvi) the work experience programme, (xvii) the workstart pilots scheme, (xviii) the wider opportunities training programme, (xix) the youth employment subsidy scheme between 1976 and 1978 and (xx) the young workers scheme (a) in each year of each scheme's operation and (b) for each year as a percentage of the total numbers leaving all schemes; [6425]

(4) what type and level of qualification each leaver obtained from (i) the adult employment subsidy scheme. (ii) the employment action scheme, (iii) the job creation programme, (iv) the job interview guarantee scheme. (v) the job review workshops scheme, (vi) the job splitting scheme, (vii) the job search seminars scheme. (viii) the job training programme, (ix) the job training scheme, (x) the jobplan workshops programme, (xi) the learning for work scheme, (xii) the new workers scheme, (xiii) the old job training scheme, (xiv) the recruitment subsidy for school leavers scheme, (xv) the voluntary projects programme, (xvi) the work experience programme, (xvii) the workstart pilots scheme, (xviii) the wider opportunities training programme, (xix) the youth employment subsidy scheme between 1976 and 1978 and (xx) the young workers scheme; and in each case how many failed to obtain any qualification.
