§ Mr. WallaceTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list, in respect of each islands and district council area in Scotland, the total net rateable value of non-domestic property(a) prior to and (b) since 1 April. [20593]
§ Mr. LangInformation on the rateable value of non-domestic property, in respect of each islands and district council area in Scotland, at 1 April 1994, which is the latest date for which the information is available, is given in table 1. Information is not, at present, available centrally on the rateable value of non-domestic property at 1 April 1995. Table 2 gives estimates of the average percentage increase in rateable value in each region and islands area following the 1995 revaluation of non-domestic rates. The estimates are based on a sample survey of estimated outcomes of revaluation which was conducted last year.
