§ Mr. NorrisA fatality resulting from a road accident is defined as a road death if the death occurs within 30 days of the accident. This definition arose from the Convention of Road Traffic (Vienna 1968) and is adhered to by most European countries. My Department has no plans to extend this definition to a longer time period.
