§ Mr. Win Griffiths
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales (1) what was the capital value of Welsh Development Agency factories where new rents were negotiated in 1989; what was the average rental per £100,000 of capital value; and what is the estimated capital value of these factories currently; [18864]
(2) how many tenants of the Welsh Development Agency have been offered the opportunity of purchasing their factories before block sales of whole estates, or significant parts of them, in each of the last five years; what percentage of tenants were made such an offer; and what percentage accepted; [18860]
(3) how many companies have approached the Welsh Development Agency seeking reductions in their rent during the last year, and how many people they employ; [18862]
(4) how many jobs have been lost in factories rented from the Welsh Development Agency following factory closures following the rises in each of the last three years; and what estimate has been made of the likely job losses in the current year. [18863]

§ Mr. Wigley
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, pursuant to his answer of 12 December to the hon. Member for the Vale of Glamorgan (Mr. Sweeney),Official Report, column 515–16, if he will list the papers reported to be derived by Cynon Valley borough council to the Grant Thornton inquiry; and if he will make a statement. [18928]

§ Mr. Redwood
The papers to which the Grant Thornton inquiry was not granted access concerned the decision of the council to put Cynon Valley Transport into members voluntary liquidation.

§ Mr. Wigley
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales on what dates operating guidelines have been issued to the Welsh Development Agency during the past 10 years; on what dates they have come into effect; and to what degree new guidelines have superseded previous ones. [18879]
