To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many people receiving public funding towards residential or nursing care also had to contribute towards the cost for each of the last 10 years.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will list by authority the number of private and voluntary residential care and nursing homes that have closed since implementation of the Registered Homes Act 1984; and how many residents have been affected.

This information could be provided on nursing homes only at disproportionate cost and is not available on residential care homes.
