asked Her Majesty's Government:

In which CIS countries other than Uzbekistan are entry visas to the United Kingdom issued from the British Embassy in Moscow.

The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Baroness Chalker of Wallasey:)

There is no resident British representation in:

  • Armenia
  • Georgia
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Moldavia
  • Turkmenistan

Applicants for visit visas from these countries may apply at any designated Post. Other categories should apply at Moscow.

A limited visa service for diplomats and officials only is offered in Azerbijan. Visitors may apply at any designated Post. Other categories should apply at Moscow. A full service will be offered in Baku once suitable office accommodation has been found.

No visa service is offered at present in Belarus, but a full service will commence as soon as suitable office accommodation for a visa section can be found. In the meantime applicants for visit visas can apply at any designated Post, and applicants in other categories should apply to Moscow.
