§ Mr. RaynsfordTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects bylaws made under the powers contained in the London Docklands Development Corporation Act 1994 to be brought into effect.
§ Sir Paul BeresfordThe London Docklands development corporation has submitted to the Department proposed byelaws to be made under the 1994 Act. Following final agreement on the wording of the laws, necessary statutory procedures, including public consultation, will have to be undertaken. I expect those procedures to be completed by the turn of the year and the byelaws to come into effect early next year.
