§ Mr. MacleanAs drug trafficking is a clandestine activity, it is not possible to estimate the numbers of people engaged full-time in the trafficking of illegal drugs. However, information on the number of persons convicted or cautioned for drugs trafficking offences is contained in table 3.3 of the Home Office statistical bulletin "Statistics of drugs seizures and offenders dealt with, United Kingdom, 1992" a copy of which is in the Library.
