How the Partnership for Peace is being co-ordinated with developments within the CSCE, whose members have been invited to take part in these partnerships.
§ Baroness Chalker of WallaseyPartnership for Peace (PFP) does not involve formal co-ordination with the CSCE. However, the PFP framework document which all partners sign states that those countries subscribing to it "reaffirm their commitment to the Helsinki Final Act and all subsequent CSCE documents". On 11 March NATOs Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs led a PFP briefing mission to the CSCE in Vienna, during which he pointed to the complementary nature of the work undertaken in the two fora.
