§ Sir Wyn RobertsUnder the Forestry Act 1967 the Forestry Commissioners are statutorily obliged to appoint a committee for Wales. However, the role of the committee was effectively diminished in 1965 when the commissioners abolished national directorates as part of a streamlining exercise to remove a management tier. Its current members are Mr. C. R. Woosnam CBE, Mr. R. T. Bradley, Mr. M. A. McLaggan and Mr. D. M. Hughes. The committee last met in 1985.
