To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage what consultations he has had with representatives of the film industry.

Last year I held a series of 10 consultative meetings with all sectors of the film industry to consider the state of the industry and how the level of investment in British film production might be raised. I have subsequently had discussions with a number of key industry figures. I will announce the Government's conclusions in due course.
