§ Mr. Neil HamiltonI have decided to recognise the accountancy qualification offered by the Association of International Accountants as a recognised professional qualification for company auditors under section 32 of and schedule 12 to the Companies Act 1989. I have placed in the Libraries of the House copies of the AIA's rules and guidance, on the basis of which I have taken this decision.
