To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many patients in the Mid Essex area have been treated in the latest month available for every 100 patients treated in March 1991.

For every 100 finished consultation periods—ordinary admissions plus day cases—in the general and acute sector in national health service hospitals in the Mid Essex district in the financial year 1990–91, there were 105 in 1992–93.
